Promoting International Scientific Exchange

IISEMS was established following a donation made in 1999 by Prof. Tony Uthoff, a senior ophthalmologist from Germany, with the aim of advancing ophthalmic knowledge in Israel through international collaboration with leading specialists.

Since its establishment, income from the fund has supported annual scientific meetings, excellence awards, and selected national conferences featuring international speakers.

The annual meeting continues this tradition, providing a platform for ophthalmologists from Israel and abroad to exchange knowledge, clinical experience, and research insights.
