New Hope for Pancreatic Cancer
Novel Drug Shows Breakthrough Results
A new drug for pancreatic cancer, Daraxonrasib, has demonstrated remarkable results, significantly extending survival among patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer compared with standard chemotherapy.
The findings were presented at the ASCO Annual Meeting and published in the New England Journal of Medicine, marking a significant step forward in the fight against one of the most aggressive and deadly forms of cancer.
According to Prof. Ido Wolf, Head of the Oncology Division at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) and Head of the School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, “The results of this new pancreatic cancer drug were so impressive that the audience gave the presentation a standing ovation.”
The findings offer renewed hope for patients with pancreatic cancer and may mark the beginning of a significant breakthrough in treatment.
