Seminar: Dr. Amnon Buxboim from Hebrew University

Research:  Dr. Amnon Buxboim's lab is interested in how the interactions between cells and their physical environment direct cell-fate decision making. The biological systems that they study are: 1) The Cell Nucleus – where genes are regulated; 2) Stem Cell Differentiation and Epigenetic Reprogramming; 3) Pre-Implantation Embryogenic Development; 4) Muscle functions in Myotonic Dystrophy.

His lab is highly interdisciplinary and integrates Cell & Molecular Biology with Physics, Bioengineering and Computer Science.
