Celebrating 70 Years of Meir Medical Center
The 14th Research, Innovation and Development Conference at Meir Medical Center featured 190 abstracts, 27 lectures, and 163 posters, as the hospital marked its 70th anniversary.
The conference brought together researchers, physicians, and healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas, showcasing a wide range of research projects and clinical innovations at Meir Medical Center.
The event opened with remarks by Prof. Yaakov Hen, Director of Meir Medical Center; Prof. Shai Kivity, Head of the Research Authority; and Prof. Karen Avraham, Dean of the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at Tel Aviv University.
We were also pleased to meet Prof. Yossi Mekori, former Dean of the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, and Prof. Michal Chowers, former Head of the Four-Year Medical Program at the Gray School of Medicine.
Congratulations to the researchers and organizing team on a conference that highlighted the scientific and clinical work at Meir Medical Center and the important connection between academic research and clinical practice.
